Beginnings
We started developing TagPlan in 2023 as a simple digital solution for regular field sampling of drinking water in utility companies. Companies began to recognize the need for digitizing field work for easier organization, data analysis, and reporting for inspections. Since early 2024, TagPlan has been developed within the Slovenian startup Appolius d.o.o., specializing in advanced digital solutions. We have always worked closely with early users, gathering feedback and wishes. We also conducted over 20 interviews with companies from various industries. Every organization has its own processes, but the goal is the same—quality work, regulatory compliance, and customer satisfaction.
TagPlan Today
TagPlan has evolved into a versatile tool that simplifies work for managers and field workers. Organizations use it instead of paper forms and operational logs. Our users recognized its broader usefulness, expanding its use from water quality monitoring to other processes such as facility and infrastructure inspections, valve calibration, maintenance logging (e.g., mowing by subcontractors), work planning for treatment plants, and more.
About Us
The founders of Appolius d.o.o. and TagPlan are Gregor Obreza (CEO) and Jure Špeh (CTO). Based on our own field experience and many conversations with maintenance staff and managers, we strive for a simple user experience, stable operation, and excellent support. We value all feedback and regularly include customer wishes in new TagPlan versions.
